About Mr. P

As an Emotional Support teacher, I am responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an Individualized Education Program for students identified with emotional and behavioral problems.

I was hired by the Shikellamy School District in June of 2013 to teach K-6 Emotional Support. I am a 2013 graduate of Lock Haven University (LHU). I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education and I am certified to teach Secondary Social Studies (7-12) and Special Education (N-12). While at Lock Haven, I completed my student teaching at Central Mountain High School and Jersey Shore Middle School. I was also the Vice President of the LHU Council for the Social Studies and competed at the 197 lb. weight class for Lock Haven's wrestling team during the 2011-2012 season. I am currently the Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach for Shikellamy High School and always looking to recruit new wrestlers!

I am originally from and grew up in New York and graduated from Port Jervis High School. In high school, I played football and wrestled and was a part of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, I enjoy visiting my family and friends and going fishing.
